A & P 1 2010 sticky thread?

I see there is an old sticky from 2008 A&P and Micro. Can a moderator make one for A&P 1 summer students? That way we can help each other. A few of us have class starting Monday, and it would be nice to have! :cool:

I start tomorrow as well, but I am taking micro too! ugh! My next 9 weeks will suck! I am returning for my second degree after graduating 5 yrs ago and now have a husband and a 16 mo old, this should be interesting!

I have a son who'll be four in a few weeks. Actually having to GO to class in August is going to suck. I've been going to school online for over a year now when I finally got the opportunity go get into an RN program. (College was almost 20 years ago for me. EEEK!)

My Micro class in the Fall is on campus too. It's MWF nights (lab MW and Lec F I think). It's nice to see a lot of other people in my situation. (husband, kid, job, 2nd degree) Makes me feel less crazy for doing this. :D

You're not crazy AT ALL! I just happen to be "lucky" in the sense that I lost my job, so I have a LITTLE more time for the studying. Although having to watch video lectures online with a VERY inquisitive 4 year old kind of sucks...I have to wait for him to go to bed to do most of my schooling. HA HA HA. It's a good thing he is so CUTE!:lol2:

Kristey maybe he will learn something! LOL He can help you study... when he goes to elementary school he'll know all sorts of things! Bones, muscles, ect! Right now all Gavin wants to do is push the button to turn off my computer and mash on the keyboard. Oy. It's going to be a loooong road!:lol2:

I feel your pain. Jack keeps wanting to spell his name and push all the buttons to find out what does what. Unfortunately, this is a new laptop and I have NO IDEA what some of these keys do yet!:eek:

I almost named Gavin Jack...good name choice! I liked Jack and Sullivan, but couldn't convince hubby on Sullivan. And Jackson Sullivan Ourlastname sounded more like a law firm than a kid unfortunately. Does he have a leap pad or anything? Maybe he can "study" with you. :cool:

And darn it I just noticed that I can't get in my class today until 5! I thought it was 4, but that's central... :crying2:

Hi! I am kinda new to this site to. I am taking my prerequisite to get into the r.n. program. I have been working very hard at it. I am not employed right now I got hurt on the job so I am sble to study all the time. I have not gotten to A&P yet. I am taking English 101 and Psychology 101. If anyone has good notes please post them for any courses.

I had A&P 1 and 2 yearsss ago. They were tough classes for me since I had a teacher who spoke with a heavy accent and who insisted on telling stories about his personal life during every class....OMG. But I made it through.

Also, in our lab, we dissected cats not cadavers...Times have changed!

I am trying to get into that English class. It's full at my college so I'm on the wait list for it. I hope I get into this class. It's the last pre-req that I need before I apply for the RN program.
