A&P 1 Spring 08

Hi y'all! Anybody taking A&P 1 this coming spring semester? I'm trying to get as many pre-req's out of the way as possible and could use a study buddy or 2! Thanks! :)

I too am taking A&P 1 along with nutrition this spring semester. I am nervous and excited to start. Cant wait to see how I do.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what pre reqs i should try to get out of the way first. Im trying to get these courses out the way im shooting for admissions in 2009

Count me in..I will be taking Anatomy starting January 14 at Eastern Kentucky U. Unlike some programs, EKU has two separate classes for Anatomy and Physiology. So I will be taking Physiology this Summer. It's been 10 years since I've been in school, so I'm really ready to start.

My school says to take Anatomy first, then Microbiology, then Physiology. Well, I'm taking Microbio first but oh well. There are different pre-reqs depending on which school you're applying to. Make sure you know exactly what you're doing!!

Many say that it is best to become a CNA before becoming a RN. Do anyone think that this would be more benifical for me?

I would say no if your final goal is to be an RN, BSN, or get your Master's. At my school, the pre-reqs are all different. I don't even think there are any pre-reqs for CNA. There are already a lot of pre-reqs for RN so getting a CNA first doesn't really help IMO.

I'm trying to get into A&P1 this january! I won't know until Jan. 3rd (classes start on the 8th!!) because the nursing students get placed first- I really really hope I get in! I've started trying to learn the bones as somebody suggested.

I think it will be a hard course but I really enjoyed bio 12 though and this time I will have motivation- nursing school!

I just started my pre reqs in the summer. Im now in my third semster this spring. Motavation is the key to reaching your goal. This is my second day on this web sight and I find it really helpful. Maybe when we start our ANP courses we can help each other out.

I also got a mini digital voice recorder so I can record my lectures and then put them on my ipod to listen to them while I'm at work :)
