Hi y'all! Anybody taking A&P 1 this coming spring semester? I'm trying to get as many pre-req's out of the way as possible and could use a study buddy or 2! Thanks! :)
had our first lab practical on wed on the tissues...i had such a headache after looking in a million microscopes to view tissue slides.....got my grade yesterday.....98!!!....SO VERY HAPPY!!!.......just waiting on the lecture portion results which was on the first 4 chapters.....YIKES!!!
Ugh contrasts on the lab test! Im a bit envious and jealous I'm studying for my lecture exam.. So far about 4 hours just today put into it :/ may I ask how or what type of questions you received on your lecture test.. It seems like my teacher will be giving essay type questions .. Which I'm dreading.. And it's really all brute memorization... On a good note My first lecture test is on march 2nd so I still have time but I really hate having no life... I'm usually a procrastinator and I think it finally dawned in me Thad I'll be quite busy for some time.. Good news is I'm no procrastinating... But good luck on your lecture !
oh we had multiple choice, fill ins, diagrams and those dreaded essay questions....had to pick 3 out of a list of 10......anywhere from name 5 organelles of the cell and their function..list the 4 major tissues, where found and their functions(EASY!)...define atom and draw an atom list the sub particles and their functions....anything from chem to the tissues was fair game....i stuck to the tissues cause i hate the chem part and choked on remembering stuff about the cell.....also one was name the healing process of a wound...they were 10 pts each...YIKES!!....i do not do good on essay questions...our prof did give us hints on how to "use" the test for them tho.....i did do that....i looked back at some of the questions and pulled some info from the multiple choice and fill ins....i am a to the point type of test taker...i just can not bull my way thru a question...hehe...good luck

I've never heard of taking the ACT or SAT to get into a nursing program. I could see it being reqd to get into a BSN program. Maybe. Hmmm. I'm in Cali, so it may be different, here.
I'm taking A and P this summer! Can't wait! I register May 5.
