A&P II Summer 09

For all those who were in the API thread, lets move to this one. :D I got an A in AP I and I'm anxious to get this class over with. I'm taking it along with Micro (started a thread for that one too) and General Psych, but this is only a 10 week semester. I got my lab kit and we dissect a pig over more than one lab, so that should be interesting. I sort of hope I get the same prof (we don't know until class starts who it will be) because I know what she expects, but would love to have an easier one.... not so many assignments. LOL I hope to see some familiar names, I like to know I'm not trudging through this course by myself.

I'm also taking A&P II during the summer. Mine is a 4 week session and begins in July. It will be intense! I also got an A in A&P I! Congrats on yours!

4 weeks! Holy Cow! I hope your not taking anything else, intense is an understatement, but you can do it! Good luck!!

im literally in the same boat as you guys.... APII in 8 weeks, and microbio in 4 weeks (yes the 4 weeks will overlap...(yes hell)) but im prepared to fight through it

Good thing I thrive during intensity! ;) I feel confident and driven, so that will go a long way in my success during those 4 weeks, I think! Oh, and that IS my only class during summer session.

Oh, yay! There are other crazies out there taking A&P II over the summer! :yeah: I took A&P I over the Spring semester and got an A, so I'm hoping II will be similar! Congrats to everyone!

I don't start until July 6th, though, and it's a 5-week course. Good luck to everyone!!! :specs:

I know I need a bath just thinking about A&P II squished into 5 weeks... :tbsk:

I am sure General Psych won't even need alot of your attention

that classes is practically a A grade. Micro and A&P II , once you

knock those two down I am sure it be clear sailing.:yeah:

I would have gotten an A but I refused to sleep with the professor! JUST JOKING!! I got a B+

Wow..you guys are just starting. I'm about halfway through my A&P 2 course..it started May 4th! I have some REALLY cool pics of dissection on my Facebook page :-)

We've done the eye..the heart and the lungs. In A&P 1, we did the rat and sheep's brain.

Eight exams in 6 weeks. 4 down..4 more to go (next one is tomorrow night). I'm finding A&P 2 easier (maybe because I have an A average so far..lol). Maybe because it's more interesting..at least to me.

Anyway, good luck to all and let's keep everyone posted on how we're doing!

I think your right. I just got the syllabus and it looks like a (relative) snap. I think Micro may be tougher than AP this semester. One day in Micro I have 5 quizzes, 1 exam, 3 labs and an assignment due. Every other Monday is pretty much like that. AP2 I only have a journal entry, lab and quiz due every week. At least they aren't both on the same days! At least I won't get bored this summer, LOL. Kind of a bummer though, this may be the last of my sciences and then onto math, english and another psych class... those I find really boring!! lol

This 4 week A & P II class is kickin' my butt! I'm up now (in the wee hours of the morn) studying for a lecture test on the blood vessels & respiratory system tomorrow. I can only study at night once our children have gone to bed & the house is quiet. Unfortunately, that sometimes means all nighters for me. This week is the start of week 3 and we're having our 2nd lecture test and 3rd lab practicum tomorrow. We're likely to have a 4th lab practicum on Wednesday. So far, I have an "A" b/c I'm putting A LOT of time into studying.....but I feel like I need to come up for air!!!
