A&P II Summer 2008

Anyone taking A&P 2 this summer. Join me here and we can help each other out. I know the faster pace is going to be tough. :D

I've been re-going over all of my ppts and practice quizzes and my actual exams. I've made over 500 some flashcards so far, I feel like I'm drowning in flash cards. Exam is next Monday. I can't wait to be done with this. Which sucks because if I was taking it in a classroom instead of online, I bet I'd love it.

We have agreed on many subjects, but your A&PII instructor is light. I wish that's all I had to worry about.

Just took my 3rd test in lecture last night...got a 93!!!!:monkeydance: It was over the respiratory system, digestive system, metabolism, and urinary system. Now we have 2 days to learn the acid-base balance & fluid-electrolyte balance stuff and the ENTIRE reproductive system including embryology. FUN!!! Next week I have my lab practical Tuesday and my lecture final Thursday. What a week, but I'm almost done! So far I have an A in lecture and barely an A in lab...and I'm busting my butt to keep it that way!

I started my class July 7th, it ends August 20th, We have are exam on Monday on the Blood/Heart/ Blow Vessels(flow). My teacher is okay, but all over the place. We did our Blood lab already( learning blood type), we started on our hearts(dissection) and we got our fetal pigs last night. I am a little worried about the test because I don't totally have my hand wrapped around the heart but I am getting there. CSantos, I don't think I would be able to do the cats because my scool gets the cats with the hair still on them, I think it would freak me out. Hope everyone does well!!!!

I just took the circulatory exam today, and did ok "B"

but tomrrow is the heart test ! and also the heart dissection !!!

I have blood, heart and circulatory next Thursday. I regret taking a minimester course.

I'll be done after my final on Monday too. I know a fair amount of my class has failed it so far, and if we get less than 65% on the cumulative final (which we have NO study guidance for whatsoever because it's RANDOM what questions we get) then we get an F on our report card.

I'm so excited to take this test, let me tell you. I'll never take summer school again unless it's a blowoff class :(

I haven't been on here in a while. But, I started A&P 2 on June 26th and I only have two weeks of class left. I just knew I was going to get an A in this class but I can kiss that good bye. I have to get an A on my next two exams in order to get a B in the class considering my average is like a 75 right now.

I wish I had known just how hard it is to take in so much information over such a short period of time. It's even harder with me working 12 hour nights. July 31st can't get here soon enough for me.

Csantos...could you post the link to the helpful website you posted a while back. It would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Well, I've done everything I can. I'll know in 12 hours if I've ended up with a B or with an F. I've studied like a maniac this week, coming up with several different ways to review stuff. Today I did every single practice quiz that the publisher offered (681 total questions in one day, my brain is mush) and got about 77% total on all of them. I'm so ready for this to be over, and I'm not religious, but please God, let me pass tomorrow.

If I don't pass I'm gonna have to retake it in the fall with Micro. I feel like it'd be a good idea to retake it because I don't feel like I learned as much as I should have this summer due to taking it online. But I really don't want to have to go through this stress again while taking something as hard as micro.

Well my final is over and done with and I PASSED! It looks like I missed an A in the class by a measly 3 points though :( I did email my teacher to see if she'd curve it since I got an 89.7%. I'm disappointed in the B, but SO HAPPY that I don't have to retake the class!

Took my final today! Came out w/ B in lecture and lab! Glad its over! Longest 4 wks of my life!
