Flashcards Flashcards Flashcards...they were my savior in A & P 1 and I am currently using this method in A & P 2. Also, get the anatomy coloring book this helps A LOT and the Anatomy cliff notes!!!

My A&P I on-line class started on May 21st. I am already feeling the pain. There is no turning back now. It is a six week course and every two weeks we go into school for testing on six chapters plus labs. My husband is already asking me if I am going to be studying like this all summer. I told him pretty much just probably worse at first because I want to make sure I can get all this info. absorbed in time for the test. I am hoping once I get a system down it will be a little easier. I just bought Gray's Anatomy flash cards today at the bookstore to help as an additional study aid. Good Luck to all of us!!!!

I feel your pain. I just started my A & P I class online May 7th. While mine is not quite as bad as yours, as far as time, it's still ALOT if work. My course goes 16 weeks, but first mid exam is the week of the 6th in June and covers 8 chapters! Of course I have 2 papers to write and have turned in on by the 10th of June before we go on to the new chapters. YIKES! Good Luck~

im doing a&p 1 w/ lab every sat since may 12 until june 21. 12 wks

my first test is on sat. ez stuff like anatomical position, the cell, planes,cavities .

I'm right there with you guys.

I start Monday at the ungodly hour of 7 am. I have class until 9:30am Monday through Thursday and lab from 9:45 am-11:45am Monday through Wednesday. I don't know how I'm going to do it as I am sooo not a morning person, but I guess I'll struggle through it.

:idea: i am so not ready to touch any nasty rat. ewww.

yup, started a&p 1 last week. day 2 we dissected a rat! these summer classes move really fast. i have one teacher for lab, and another for classroom, which looks like it'll be nice for getting 2 different viewpoints. (plus the lab professor is chinese, and hard to understand, although you can tell she knows her stuff.)

Well we had our first class today. Class is 8:30-12 M/W. I dont even have my books to study, what supplies does anybody recommend for this class?

Lots of paper for taking notes. May not be a bad idea to think about getting flash cards or even the coloring books. Hopefully your material will be coming soon.

Lots of coffee if your a coffee drinker! Gosh 7, thats so early. I'm a early riser but I don't think I could be listening to lecture at that time. Good Luck~

Took my first test today. Chapter 1. I think I only missed one. I studied for 16 hours in TWO days. The regions on the body actually took me 3 1/2 hours to memorize.

We are covering 14 CHAPTERS in 5 weeks.

We just finished Chapter 2 and we have another exam on Monday. I just hope I didn't make a mistake by taking it this summer! This is SOOOO hard! Our Chapter two chapter is a Chemistry review. Chem is like a nightmare that won't go away!

Hi everyone -

I started the summer A&P and already can't wait for it to be over! I think this class is going to wreck my GPA! We only have a few weeks to get through the whole book! I honestly am regretting signing up for this course. Good Luck everyone!
