A&P I Spring 2007 Semster - Welcome!

Published

I will be taking A&P I next semester when I come back from Christmas break for the Spring 2007 semester. I didn't know if someone was going to start a group or not, so I thought I would create a thread to find those of us who have been "getting our feet wet" and are going to start into the fun stuff during the Spring 2007 semester. I look forward to seeing who all will be feeling my pain!

I was just wondering how everyone think they did this semester in this class. I will be taking it this fall '07.

I think I making a low C if I figured out my grade right. But what will be the determining factor is how I do on my final tomorrow.

Well I finished this class out with an "A". I am glad this class is over! It was definitely a lot of studying.

Yeah. I am so glad to see someone is a "c" student too. I have a low C, I did terrible on the Muscle lab test! So, GO C STUDENTS!!!!

I am taking Organic Bio Chemistry in the summer (also called College Chemistry in some schools), has anybody heard if it is more difficult than AP?

I took it this Spring and I should have put more effort into it, but got a B, a lot of the people from class said it was thier hardest class, I would have to say treat it like you did a&P. I am taking a&p this semester and going to put way more effort into in than I did Chem, but I am more interested in a&p than I was chem.

same here. AP1 defenetly holds my interest more than Chem. But I will go into like i did AP1, "A" intentions. I have a quick question. I know Stats is a pre req...i took Quanitative Methods for my Pych major. I got an "A" in it...would that count as my stats course. Quan Methods was crazy hard....but would it count so i dont have to take stats? Anybody know?

Woo Hoo!!! Got an A!!!! :monkeydance:

you got an A in AP? What did u think fo the course?

Whew, I had my final in lecture today, and it was tough. My prof said she based it after the type of tests we would get in nursing school. I made a 90.47 in my lab class...which accounts for 30% of my overall grade. I'm crossing my fingers for that A. I worked so hard in this class. Study hard and do not fall behind. It was a lot of information to learn, but if you put the study time in and take advantage of tutoring and study groups, I think an A is do-able.

Now that the class is over, I feel lost. I always had my nose in the book or reviewing my notes and now I feel lost without them!

Has anyone tried A&P For Dummies? I heard it is very helpful, exspecially when you can't understand you A&P teacher and you have to teach yourself A&P, like myself..

I just finished up A&P1 with a notoriously difficult professor. She was exacting and demanding and my nose did not come out of our book for four months. All the hard work payed off and I earned a solid A! More importantly, I really learned a lot.

My reward? The opportunity to do it all over again with the same instructor this summer in Micro. Yikes.
