  1. I think it was like 137 or something.
  2. ACIE29 Where do you stand on the waiting list? I had a dream that they contacted me 2 days before the start and had to give my job 1 days notice.
  3. I am on the waiting list. I am not holding my breath I am #13 so I will just keep plugging away. If I don't get in I will have my AA over the summer and will apply to FCCJ in the Fall then FCCJ and SJRCC in the spring and just keep trying until I do. We are trying to sell a house right now so I could use the money but I would drop it all in a heartbeat to get in.
  4. Sorry to hear that, don't give up, just keep plugging away, it is heartbreaking but will be worth it in the end. If you really want to be a nurse you will prevail. I did not get in last semester and still may not this semester. If I don't get in I will just keep plugging away for my AA degree, that will give me more points and a broader education.
  5. Same here wait-listed, but they must have hand delivered the letter because mine was not in a envelope and it was folded vertically, I found that to be very strange. I got mine on the 13th.
  6. I am in the same boat, I have two more classes after this semester but I still have to take the NAT, unfortunatley I waited to long to take my algebra and it is putting me behind a semester for applying. I had to take the Chem with the lab well that is what they suggested so when I transfer for my BA I already have it.
  7. When my brother was getting married and my father had a heart attack my mother did break out in hives from all the stress, it had never happened to her before but it happened then.
  8. I am in A&PI right now with Prof. James Johnson at Deerwood and he is EXCELLANT, he also teaches A&PII and Micro sometimes, I am already signed up to take II with him next semester and his classes fill up instantly, so you have to be on the button. Prof. Hailey at Kent Campus for Chemistry is awsome also, if you do the work. If you haven't taken Humanities then Rucker is great also. If you have anymore question feel free to drop me a line.
  9. I just found out we get to dissect a brain and an eye, how cool is that?
  10. I took it this Spring and I should have put more effort into it, but got a B, a lot of the people from class said it was thier hardest class, I would have to say treat it like you did a&P. I am taking a&p this semester and going to put way more effort into in than I did Chem, but I am more interested in a&p than I was chem.
  11. I am still pre nursing but my dh is a police officer. Most of his cop friends were married to nurses, my dh is afraid when I become a nurse we will end up getting divorced, because he has watched all his friends get divorced after thier wives become nurses. I keep telling them it is not what they are it is who they are.
  12. I had a child that lived next door to me who had the same symptoms and they realized it was all stress induced from her parents divorce.
  13. I myself have seen these visions, I had eclampsia with both my children , but with my son I was very sick, after an emergency C-section, I was resting in my room and starting dreaming of angels, I immediatley woke up with a bloody nose and my O2 stats quickly declining. I was terrified, I just had a little boy and was not ready to go, the nurse was kind enough to stay in the room with me most of the night to make sure I was ok, I refused to sleep for a couple days. When my sister was passing she was calling my uncle's name who had died a couple years prior and right before she died she held her hand in the air.
  14. I can say for myself that I woke up during surgery, just a little appendectomy and they were talking about my breast, which are not small by any means, but I heard what they were saying.
  15. I have taken several online classes, and have come to realize that there are some things I need to be in class for, like the things I don't care for. I have to force myself to take any math in class, not that I am bad at just have no interest in. I did an 8 week English online and aced it, this semester since I work FT and have 2 kids and a husband that works nights, and Chemistry is 2 nights a week already, and Algebra on Saturdays, I am taking a 12 week A&P I online, you really have to make sure it is something you will not be completely bored with to succeed online.
