A&P I: Fall '05 Anatomy & Physiology Club

Published

So, I'm in! I've got this and College algebra and I'm DONE with all my pre-reqs and related courses. I dropped this this past Spring, so I know how hard it is. Hopefully I'll have a better instructor this time that actually knows how to teach the class.

Hi everyone, I'm starting A&P this fall as well (Aug 18th). I did Bio 101 over the summer and managed an A in the course. I know it will take triple the amount of studying to get an A in A&P! I found a website by a nursing student that has Hundreds of awesome lab pics (muscle, bones, everything) heres the url: http://nursingjourney.com/links.html

I love her site!

Welcome to the site and good luck to you in your studies. :)

Well, I'm all set to take A&P 1 online thru Edukan this fall. I paid for the class this week and received my books and materials for the class today! I couldn't wait to get home from work tonight so I could look through the books. I'm much more excited than scared now. It will be a lot of work I'm sure, if I only judge by the sheer weight of the books :rotfl: but surprisingly I'm not near as frightened anymore.

I hope it stays that way too. :stone

LOL - I know just how you feel! I was shocked when I got my package too. My husband picked it up at the post office and asked me, "My goodness, what on earth did you order? A box of lead?" Hahaha - no, much more toxic, an A&P book! :rotfl: Seriously though, I have been shuffeling though it and I am so excited, I can't wait for the class to start. My class is 100% online (including labs) through CCConline. I am psyched! :D I hope we can all muster to feel that way still come December. :p

Hi everyone!!! I just wanted introduce myself. I'm starting AandP 1 this semester also. Along with food and nutristion, deve. psyc and a math class! So my plat is pretty full :uhoh3: . Two of them are online though.

Good luck to everyone!!!

Hi,

Although I am done with A&P I & II, I just wanted to wish everyone good luck with it. I personally loved the class. It's a lot of work, but you can DEFINITELY do it! Enjoy the semester!

Hi, I too am taking A& P 1. I also completed medical terminology last semester. I

figured since I passed microbiology, this should not be too bad. I have only A&P

2 left to take as my pre-req. Unfortunately, I have 2 years before I can enter

nursing program.

So I started my anatomy class today just basic information as far as course details how the test are grade and how they count. I did get to see some students that had Med. Term I with me so we formed a study group so this will be fun. Hope to hear from you all.

I'm starting totally fresh at 41. It's a real laugh too because my Comp I A still sticks after 23 years! I'm taking A & P I, General Biology and Chemistry, Interpersonal Commun. and music. I decided to go ahead and take the bull by the horns and take 14 hours. I have been to the library and checking out books to get my mind in gear for A & P and it's been so fun. It's really been painful because I registered on the first day of early registration so the waiting is killing me. My Pell Grant is supposed to be applied over the weekend and then I can buy all of my books before classes start on the 29th. I orginally planned on going through the Respitory Care program but the more I read the more I want to become an RN in a 4 year program. We'll see how it goes, I'm pretty nervous about making good grades but everyone keeps assuring me that because I want it so badly it will happen. Best Wishes to everyone! :p

I am taking A&P I this fall. I took Biomedical terminology last spring, so hopefully that will help with A&P. There was alot of general anatomy in the book.
