So, I'm in! I've got this and College algebra and I'm DONE with all my pre-reqs and related courses. I dropped this this past Spring, so I know how hard it is. Hopefully I'll have a better instructor this time that actually knows how to teach the class. :rolleyes:

A&P(1) fall semester also. I'm totally freaking amped, I can't wait!!!

I have heard that taking Med. Term. is good for anatomy its not required at my school but I have already taken part one and will start part II this fall. any comments from those who have taken A&P does Med. Term really help?:uhoh21:

I am taking A&P 1 online this fall. I am going to Palo Alto In San Antonio, is anyone else going there? Or has anyone else gone there? I would like to know a little about the course. Thanks!!!

hello,

medical terminology is not required at my school either but i chose to take it. it has been my experience that it helped me tremendously especially for a&p compared to my classmates who had never taken med term. it strongly helped me so i recommend it. i am sure you can do well without it as well, but to me it made my other classes alot easier and more than likely cut my study time significantly. best wishes to you. :)

Well, I guess it is time for me to come out of lurkdom....

I will be taking Anatomy this semester (my school breaks them apart)

I took Biology last semester, and I am currently finishing up Chemistry (Edukan) in the next couple of days. (thanks to you guys I found Edukan.. also took my math classes with them)

I am also taking Psychology 7 this coming semester

Is anyone using any supplements with A&P? I'm thinking of getting that coloring book since I'm sort of visual.

I was considering the coloring book too, but haven't made up my mind yet. I did get "Anatomy & Physiology for Dummies" and have slowly been reviewing it before class - I hope that briefly reviewing all of it will help me to retain it better when I start learning it. My class is 100% online though, so I'm expecting it to be somewhat challenging anyway. ;)

Yes, I bought the colouring book and have been through a little bit of it. I also bought some A&P flash cards yesterday because I just couldn't help myself! I think they both will be an asset to studying. I bought another book as well but I will have to go look up the title.

Speaking of the colouring book, I had a nurse tell me last week who is now studying for her masters that she would highly recommend it ...... I said, "Great, because I already bought it!!" She said it was so much easier to concentrate on learning the names etc. while doing the colouring.

I am taking fast track A&P 1 and 2.

Also taking a PHED class online.

thankfully I have a few courses already done. It should help in lightning my load during actual nursing school.
