Update *** I passed !!! YEAH!!!

I left that test feeling like I knew nothing. It is going to be tourture waiting 48 hrs. All the prep in the world and I don't think it would have helped. Thanks I needed to get that out.

You have only been in for two weeks don't expect yourself to "think " like a nurse yet. Nursing school is there to teach you how to "critically think" I think I heard that phrase so much in my first year that it will forever haunt me .lol Give yourself sometime to adjust. And remember even those that get A's all through nursing school it doesn't make them a good nurse per se. Keep working hard and have faith in yourself.

You can go with the cheaper 12 dollar scopes and try cutting the tubing between 12" - 16" . A little tip from an ICU nurse from when my grandad passed away.

My best advice is to kill them with kindness. Offer to do anything you can to help them out. In my experience if you prove yourself to be competent they tend to open up a bit and become friendlier and they alos just might help you seek out skills to do.

75 at my school

Hey all. I have a group project due on Wed over flight nursing and we(my group) are having trouble finding info on this particular specialty. Some answers we need are. Job availability? Job responsibility Job growth/potential Expected salary Pros/Cons How the role of flight nurse fits in todays Health Care System? How/What a Flight Nurse does to provide, coordinate, & be a member of a profession? Any info you guys have would be great. THank you

Can I join the group too? I am taking fast track A&P 1 and 2. Also taking a PHED class online. thankfully I have a few courses already done. It should help in lightning my load during actual nursing school.
