[color=#004040]hi, i am posting this question everwhere to get some help much needed. [color=#004040]i am not a nurse but i am a new mother and looking for some answer. [color=#004040]i am trying to introduce my 2 month old a bottle. i am breastfeeding her but as i am planning to start woking soon i want her to start a bottle. [color=#004040]i tried to pump and gave her in the bottle, my husband is trying to give her a bottle while i am not in the room, i tried all kind of nipples but she just starts crying when she sees a bottle. i have almost tried everything... [color=#004040]can anyone help me here please????

i started reading this forum when i decided to take nursing as a second career. the reason i decide for nursing is i just can not sit in cubicle and live corporate life. i enjoy being in touch with people, talking with them and helping them. and of course job variety. then few questions came in this forum which made me think again and finally this question and now i am more than sure that i am starting my nursing careee with taking lpn classes as soon as i can... wow..i am enjoying this forum a lot...lot's of information thanks for asking this question

Also, I am taking a big decision in my career by doing LPN as I am changing my career. Do you think I will be able to get job easily in Indiana once I will be LPN? Thanks again

Thank you for the reply. Today I went to Kokomo Center and I have been asked to complete 3 courses as a pre-reqs. No CNA courses required and soonest I can join is Spring 08. How is a career for LPN in Indiana? Will I be able to get any job while I am studying? Thanks Simple Life

dear all [color=#800040]i am thinking to start lpn course form ivy tech with no medical background...can any one give me some idea about school, how is the study and work load, timings, tuitions and anything which comes in mind...like, how much time it took to complete the course, how many hours a day for study and classess [color=#800040]and also how is the career for lpn in indiana [color=#800040]thanks

i am now really thinking to start inquiring about either lpd or accelerated bsn course in my city. thanks for your replies and suggestions. ok, now if i want to complete course in a year, how many credit i need to cover in a semester and how many hours i have to spend each day for coursework and study? in my masters i used to work 10hrs. a day so i am ready to do hard work but just curious...is getting admission is simple or there is a long wait?

Thanks for the reply I am from architect engineering. During my study I found that I am good in managemnt, logical and mathematicle skill but when it comes to designing I am not doing good. After my undergrad degree when I started working, I felt behind than other employee in designing. So, I decided to do master as it is more based on research but never got answer, Then I looked for other areas and from that I liked nursing most. I am thinking to go for LPN course so I can start working as a nurse within a year and than I can go for LPN to RN at my convenience. What do you say? Thanks

Hello All I am new to this forum. I need your advice. Right now I am working towards my masters degree which is related to engineering. I am not having any luck in finding job and I am sick of this. I am married and my husband is also little bit pushing me to start working as soon as I can. I am looking for stable life and a job where I can care about people, meet new people and have job security and good pay. I am thinking to start my career in nursing with taking LPN course. I am 28. So, I am confuse in taking decision. What you all think? Please advice.
