Pray for our military tonight and over coming days.

Pray for those airmen and women. trump has succeeded in putting our children and grandchildren between himself and danger.
I was a barely a grownup when Viet Nam ended. I remember how we "welcomed" the troops home ... and spent the next 30 years helping to clean up the mess it left behind.
Never again.
Pray for the men and women that got blown up. Pray for their grandparents, their parents and their children who have to pick up the pieces in the middle of a shooting war.
trump spends other people's lives the same way he spends money.

I don't know. I think they should refuse consent and start slowing down funding until trump and his rentboy hegseth answer some questions.
Wonder how this fits into the BBB. (Bad *** Bill). Good time to ask cui bono?

What if this is trump's extinction burst? How do we keep it from turning into an extinction event?

We are putting significant pressure on Murkowski here in Alaska. Please contact your elected officials to.
July 4th will be memorable as we gather to celebrate democracy and implore Congress to do their jobs.

I'm a little torn about the No Kings protests being on July 4th. On the one hand I can understand that if they feel Democracy is in trampled on, it's a good day. But it's also a family day and a day for us to celebrate our country together and I'd rather them pick another day.

I'm guessing that Congress is going to be splint along party lines with Republicans getting behind it and Democrats becoming more reserved and critical. The Speaker is already supportive.
Fox News yesterday paraded many guests out in support of Trump's actions and spent the day justifying it. Vance was on Meet the Press talking about the "dump Presidents" of the past.
Even before the attacks I was having a suspicion that the ultimate goal was for a regime change. Vance and Hegseth both said that wasn't the goal, and then Trump hinted at it. This confirms to me that is the end goal. I have to wonder prior to Israel starting their attacks if they didn't already know the US would help.
Make no mistake about it, Iran is an enemy of Israel and the US and a terrorist state and most likely has cells in the US and other places that can cause of havoc. One has to wonder if during Trump 45 if he didn't undo Obama's deal with Iran would we be here. Moot point I guess.
I wish us all well and peace but won't be mad if Iran stopped from making nuclear weapons and terrorizing the world. I've already expressed in other threads the quality of top leadership in this country and that concerns me.
On a side note gas prices here jump 40 cents a gallon when Israel attacked Iran after finally getting below $3.00 a gallon. Not sure what it is today, will get back to you later when I go back out to get some.

Yeah. It looks like we rarely get protest "right" here in the USA. It's always the wrong format or the wrong place or the wrong day or the wrong message.
These protests are primarily grass roots movements rather than top down organizations. I expect the frequency to increase as the aftermath of the Trump chaos affects more and more people.

Iran reserves the right to respond to the attack by "any means necessary". I'm betting that Trump believes they will plan a conventional military attack against the largest, most powerful military in the world. All of his spokesmen yesterday seemed to think this was going to be all over quickly. That seems familiar, right?
I'm sure that the 22 year old who has no experience in terrorism is going to do a good job of running our main hub for combating counterterrorism and will keep us safe and well informed. We didn't forget about him, right?
