NICE !! Can you feel me breathing down your neck ? I am right behind you.
It is way more involved than I thought, but it is definitely very doable.

I haven't updated on here recently. Been very busy!! Here's my progress so far...

    EWB...DONE
    ASV1..DONE (Nutrition)
KOT1...Submitted, awaiting results (Organization systems and Quality leadership)

    How's everyone else doing?
I finished EWB on Thursday, waiting for my mentor's call. Im taking Nutrition next can you give me any tips and/or advice.
  3. Here's my status updated:
I am officially 2.5 months in today. I have finished every class, and am frantically trying to finish my practicum right now. I plan to apply for graduation sometime between December 1-10th and then immediately begin the MSN classes.
So that will put me at 3 months to obtain my BSN! HOORAY!

BTW- the research class SUCKS. There is no getting around it. It is hard, difficult, and I am hating this. I have submitted all the tasks required though, and each one came back with 2 revisions, so overall, I feel glad that I was able to get that much done.
  4. WOW Nicely done. I guess you have broken the record of 3 months and 8 days . How many hours a week did you put into the program and do you work/have a family? (If you don't mind sharing)

No family. Well, except for my husband and three dogs, but he takes care of them and himself.
I spent about 15-20 hours per week. Usually get up at 6 spend an hour or two online, go to work, and then come home and spend 3-4 hours at night. Sometimes I would just wait until the weekend. My employer also allows me to do schoolwork when there is downtime, so I can haul my laptop into work and tether via my iphone!

I'm not trying to break any records though- I just want to get it done because a huge raise is waiting on me when I finish!

    Just in time for CHRISTMAS!
  6. Truly impressive. You deserve a serious vacay but I suspect that you will pounce on your MSN while you are full of steam. Continue to inspire us we need it. Congrats again
  7. Great stuff!!
I am having a Rick Perry moment with Community Health Task 1. If I can just get past this freeze and have it click, then I will be on my way. Maybe I should read over the instructions again and listen to the webinar again and this time I will get it.
I have a call with my mentor tomorrow so I can get her to put up the practicum class on taskstream for me.

I do need a serious vacay. I almost walked off my job today.
My husband is taking me to NYC in March, so I am counting off the days.

And thanks for the congrats! It's been hard work, but it has been worth it. WGU has been a great experience for me, and I have actually learned from this program. When I was at IWU, I felt like I was just paying for an A. It was awful. AND, it was slow going. I need to do independent study. And group work? Not for me! Why should my grade be dependent on other people?

I NEVER understood that. Do we get to split the tuition between the group ?

I just did a mini STAYcation when I graduated from excelsior. Checked into a nearby hotel suite, ordered room service and an in room massage. I then skipped down to the spa for a mani /pedi. It was amazing, relatively inexpensive, and only took 24 hours

The "bio chem" class listed on their website kind of scared me too, but it seems like you can just take a regular chemistry class and not have to take that one?
This is true. A 4-credit Intro to Chemistry class with a lab will satisfy the Biochem requirement. When my transcript eval was done, my Intro to Chem class did not initially transfer. I submitted a transcript appeal with the course syllabus, and within two days it transferred and met the Biochem requirement.
