So as I've read most of your stories on this thread I am very excited hearing how a lot of you have finished within 1 term. I will be starting soon, but I'm also wondering how many of you have a full time job? Or kids? And how realistic a 6 month finish is for a "average" person. I work 30-40 hours a week, have a 6 1/2 year old and an 18 month old. Has anyone with a similar schedule finished in 6 months?

    Hi,
I work 12hr Nocs FT (36-48hr/wk) and I have a 20month old son. I am a single mom, and am paying for the school myself. I am maxed out on my financial aid from previous undergrad work.
So, YES!! You can do it!!
    Good Luck.

I think the trick to community health is to not over think it. Look very closely at the rubric and follow it to a T. Use it to guide what you are supposed to do. (I ended up with so much data that I felt overwhelmed. But after looking at the rubric and listening to the webinar, it was not that bad).
    Good luck!

I know it can be done, in fact I did original RN,ADN with a newborn working full time by myself also. However, I'm wondering how many have finished in 6 months? or less? having a family, full time job...etc.....

(To-fallinnstyle)I'm sorry I've been following this thread since you guys started it..(kind of stalking it lol) but From your initial post, You started on Nov.1..are you saying you finished this program in 2months? How is that possible..I mean did you complete each mod in like a week or how exactly does that work? I have been looking into this program and plan to start once I get my ADN, but I pray I have the guts and drive that you all have in completing this program. Are you continuing with WGU for your MSN as well? Congrats and hat goes off too you bc that's awesome...
