Finished Biochemistry in less than a week!

So I've been an RN to BSN student at since April 1st; I came in with 55 credits to take. There were many general ED courses I had to retake. Biochemistry I intentionally saved as the last general ED course because I heard how hard this class was to pass. I also had doubts of my ability to pass this class. Needless to say, I worried for nothing as I actually really enjoyed this class! I found out that I passed all five tasks of the class this morning! So now I have only 19 credits left in my program, all nursing courses! I'm on track to be completely finished with my degree in the fall/Winter of this year! So to all those of have yet to take Biochemistry and are dreading it, go into the class with an open mind and be optimistic that you WILL pass! Thanks for reading:)

Congratulations!

I finished this course in about three weeks last year. While I didn't think it was hard, I did find it tedious, hair-splitting, and childish at times.

Tasks 1 and 2 passed on the second submission. Task three passed on the third submission. Tasks 4 and 5 passed on the first and only submission.

Like Commuter, I finished it in around three weeks. I think it was probably the most challenging class for me in the program. I think the citric acid cycle was the one I struggled with.

I did it in a week also. few small revisions, nothing major.. was very surprising! :)

I just finished biochemistry also! This class is very unorthodox, even for an online class, no tests and mainly projects with questions.

I would advise future students to purchase white sheets of paper, markers, colored pencils, pipe cleaners, and play-doh (some also used gummie bears/candy.)

I used little styrofoam balls from a craft store.

Have you spoken with the course mentor? Are you following the rubric to the letter?

Book a phone appointment with a course mentor. They are paid to help students.

I was stuck with task number 3 (hemoglobin and myoglobin) and the course mentor helped demystify where I was going wrong. Good luck to you.
