What about general science, or a&p? Its hard to believe that there isn't going to be any of that on there, especially since most of the students stress about making good grades in their sciences. Hm, I guess when the study guide goes on sale at the bookstore, i'll pick one up. Thanks for the info.!
According to nursingexamprepinfo.com, here is the breakdown of the Hesi A2...
"The HESI A2 test has five sections:
1. Anatomy and physiology, biology, and chemistry each have 25 questions.
2. Vocabulary and general knowledge has 50 questions.
3. Reading comprehension has 50 questions.
4. Grammar has 50 questions.
5. Basic math skills has 50 questions.
The first time the HESI A2 test is taken, a sixth topic may be added. It covers such topics as learning style, decision-making skills, and personality traits. The time allotted for the test is four hours, but the average time to complete the HESI A2 test is two to three hours. That time frame will vary with each test-taker. Candidates need to score 80% in order to pass. Most people take the initial test several times before they achieve a passing score, and they must wait 60 days between HESI A2 tests. Each version of the test is different to ensure an accurate evaluation of a candidate's aptitude."
You can also get the HESI A2 study guide at Barnes and Noble (in-store) and they also have the NCLEX study guide too. I can't remember exactly what I paid but I believe it was a little cheaper than the campus bookstore and I bought both study guides for under 60 I do know that much lol. Just some useful information .

Thank you for the feedback txhusker and lmd1679.
I'm pretty sure I am going to apply to several different colleges for their nursing programs, so far I'm going to apply at TCC, and UTA (for their AP BSN program), and maybe Weatherford College. I've also considered NCTC, but haven't done much investigation there. I'm bound to get in somewhere I think. UTA requires more than just the 4 sciences, so thats a downfall, and TCC is so competitive along with WC. Its kinda of weird that you have to apply at all the schools, then apply to their program lol, I don't know why I find that funny, its just weird to be applying to 4 different schools all at the same time, and enrolled in two of them right now lol.
Trying to keep up with all the different requirements and deadlines for each school, and keeping up with my summer A&P 1 class, and get ready for the 6 classes I am about to take for Fall is sooooo CRAZY!! This is pretty much a full time job in itself. I guess its a good thing I am unemployed.
I'll continue checking this thread for more helpful information!! Its good to know we're not alone in this crazy hectic process.
