C.R.N.A school??

Nursing Students SRNA

Hey friends-

Just wondering if anyone would know whether or not a 3.5 gpa is good enough to get into CRNA school?

I have 'A's in all of my sciences classes except Intro to Bio.( I got a 'B'- teacher was a goober). I have A's in all my math and English classes as well.

The only flaws on my record are two 'C' s in psychology and sociology. I also have an 'F' in popular dance. (don't ask why). I could make these courses up, but I've been told I shouldn't even worry about it. What do you guys think? Any actual CRNA's advice would be great.

Do we really need to have a high grades to become CRNA?

How did you do in nursing school?

Said it before, will say it again....

Graduate, folks. Pass your NCLEX. Work a couple of years.

THEN come back and ask about your grades/getting into CRNA school.

PLEASE!!!

So many rude people on here. I still love yall though.

If anybody wants to actually answer my question, that would be awesome.

First, try asking in the appropriate forum.

Second, answer my question.

they probably just got through reading a article on yahoo about crna's and thought "hey i want to be a crna" never mind acutally going through the steps, which are 1. graduate from a accredited nursing school (bsn) 2. pass nclex 3. work as a competent icu nurse without killing anyone or yourself while learning as much as possible about your vocation. 4. then get that crna.. good luck to all.

How were your marks when you got your BSN? They also usually require at least 2 years of critical care nursing experience.

These are the minimum requirements. Hopefully you have completed steps 1-3. Although some CRNA schools will take ER experience but not all.

A woman I work with has been a CCRN for 4 years and has tried twice to get into CRNA school. She's now starting Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.

NO need to be rude about the question, maybe the person didn't know all the steps, or maybe could have rephrased the question....if there's a problem with the way it was asked, why answer with an attitude? Guess these people had a rough week at work..geez.
