C.R.N.A school??

Nursing Students SRNA

Published

Hey friends-

Just wondering if anyone would know whether or not a 3.5 gpa is good enough to get into CRNA school?

I have 'A's in all of my sciences classes except Intro to Bio.( I got a 'B'- teacher was a goober). I have A's in all my math and English classes as well.

The only flaws on my record are two 'C' s in psychology and sociology. I also have an 'F' in popular dance. (don't ask why). I could make these courses up, but I've been told I shouldn't even worry about it. What do you guys think? Any actual CRNA's advice would be great.

NO need to be rude about the question, maybe the person didn't know all the steps, or maybe could have rephrased the question....if there's a problem with the way it was asked, why answer with an attitude? Guess these people had a rough week at work..geez.

Thank you for your kindness. Yes, most people on here are jerks, but I forgive em.

You still haven't answered my questions, Johnny. :(

No- I do not think your a jerk. Does that answer your question?

Have you read your own thread? I asked you a question at the beginning. You have not answered it.

Friblet- What did the bartender say to the horse that came into the bar? "...so whats with the long face?!?!"

Sadly, nursing schools are being flooded with these types..."All I want to be is a CRNA so I can make big bucks!!!"

So many rude people on here. I still love yall though.

If anybody wants to actually answer my question, that would be awesome.

Hey, I finished my pre-reqs and start nursing school at the end of this month. I'll be able to give you an answer in about seven or eight years.:D

Seriously, I am just happy to be able to get into the field right now and if things play out that way, then so be it. I think the grades you get during the nursing program will be more important than the pre-reqs. I also believe that your experience (references and such) will play a big part of acceptance.

Don't worry about it, what happens, happens.

(was that rude, or do I need to try again?);)

Thanks for taking the time to NOT answer the question Princess.

Pfft..there is a forum FOR wannabe CRNAs.

Just do what some of the people have told you to do. Finish nursing school, pass the NCLEX and then work for a couple years before applying....simple.

Well, this thread has just run its course.

OP, read the threads in the Pre-CRNA forum where you'll find some good advice about what to consider once you've completed a nursing program and are working as an RN.

Good luck.
