...handle loose/pulling teeth!! It is a spine tingling, goose-bump inducing hard limit for me! I mean, once they're out, I'm good. Its just the sight of the wiggling tooth and the act of pulling it out that just makes me squeamish, man-oh-man!! I'm soooooo thankful for my admin assistant who is willing to handle this ever prevalent occurrence in the school setting! But that makes me curious....

....what's your hard limit? Do you have something that, if you can, you pass on to someone else?

Lately I am having difficulty with my students and staff and their anxiety. I do not feel like I am helping.

Is there any where you can refer staff too? Some districts work with wellness programs for staff stress.

For student anxiety, I would suggest looping in your counselors if you can. There is only so much that can be done in the nurse's office, a lot of the longer term care should come from them

FEET.Seriously.

Jagged nails with dirt under them, stinky, clammy. Grosses me out every time. I have to put on gloves and I really want a hazmat suit and mask.

YAAAS. Feet. Ick.

One day back in my hospital days I was floated to the neuro ICU. The kindly nurse I worked with had Vicks Vapo-rub and she used to put it under her nose when she had to do something particularly smelly. I have some in my drawer for the puke/poop days...

I bet you'd really be creeped out by this: We have two kiddos here who, when they have had a bloody nose, have had blood come out thier eyes!

Not gonna lie....I'm not sure I'd be able to keep my composure on that the first time it happened!!

I learned how to deal with it and with vomit... I learned how to breathe through my mouth. xD
