I know it resurfaces every now and then. I don't think it's widespread here at the moment, but I'm thinking I might be asked to address it. Thanks for any insight!

Not thus far.

Why do "they" want you to address it if it's not a thing?

Ok. I'm lost or just not in the know.........Choking game?

No...But I have had to address the milk challenge. #notmensamembers

Milk challenge?? I haven't heard about this one.

Ya know when I was a kid just learning the macarena was cool. These stupid challenges with kids now is ridiculous. Common sense not so common anymore.

I called home about one incident, parents very concerned and want other parents to be aware as well as kids educated on the risks. Not sure where admins will go with it yet...

Both the choking game and milk challenge were a thing when I was in school 20 years ago, too. Kids have always done questionable things, but today they get rewarded with likes, retweets, shares, and going viral. :(

Really? This was a thing years ago? Have I been living under a rock?! But you are right, more aware of everything now with technology involved. And I would just like to take a moment and thank the heavens above that there were no IPHONES or snazzy cameras when I was young. :)

I am in the high school setting and haven't had to address it "yet".

Probably when a student attempts to do it solo with a piece of clothing, belt, phone cord ect. tied around an object (or just tight enough around their neck) and it proves to be fatal......but then again, they may just write it off as a suicide. Does the school have annual health fairs? Maybe one of the booths could talk about the dangers of performing this game, along with all of the OTHER challenges that kids are doing these days.
