What are you doing while you wait for acceptance letters???

I'm just wondering what everyone else is doing while they wait to hear from their first choice nursing schools.

Are you researching materials that will be needed, brushing up on some courses taken, still taking courses, marking the days off on your calendars or decorating !! I was redecorating but, that budget is tapped dry.... ANY THOUGHTS?

Oh besides going crazy? Hm.. working on just getting A's in my last classes. I too am anxiously awaiting letters/app status changes. It is definitely driving me crazy, but I think I have at least another 3 weeks to wait before I hear back from my first choice school. YIKES!

I'm taking the one and only corequisite I can transfer into the program, spending way too much time on AN, and getting my house in order. There's a community garage sale in April so I'm hoping to purge enough junk to cover some books.

I like the NCLEX study guide idea. Seems like the wait is annoying everyone. I wish you all the best of luck and I'm going to start searching for NCLEX study guides to kill time.

Mom/nurse i was considering beginning on those classes. Is statistics difficult?

Not as hard as I thought it would be. I put off Statistics and Tech. Writing until I absolutely had to take them, so I was dreading this class. It's really not too bad-and I'm taking it online. I take lots of notes and am making an 'A' so far. Go for it!

I'm trying to engage in other activities as far as I can extend them until approx. March 15.

That letter consumes my thoughts every hour on the hour.:uhoh3:

I'm afraid to browse any subject that pertains to nursing in fear of jinxing it all. If I get in, then I'll re-read, well skim, my A&P book that I saved.

This about sums it up for me. The only thing I have to add is that I am "attempting" to get my home organized and in order should some good news come to me any time soon. My son makes those attempts almost completely impossible...and laughs while walking away. Toddlers put everything into perspective. :lol2:

I am spending alot of my time filling out applications and writing essays for scholarships, of course I only applied to one school so if I don't get in I wonder what happens to any award that I do get...

I also have been working on a few research projects, and numbers are always a great distractor, but I am quickly running out of data.

This past week I was googling G.P.A's for different Nursing Programs..LOL I was obsessed with G.P.A's and test scores. I would check the mail 5-7 times a day. I was loosing it!!!!!!!!!!! I got my acceptance letter today, I guess I better get the bills I left in the mail box....lol I hope you all get good news soon!!
