What To Do While Waiting For That Magical Envelop

I am still waiting, and waiting, and waiting :icon_roll:o:uhoh3:for an admission letter. I keep calling the school every week but I don't want to be a pest. Please, give me some suggestions on what to do/what you did while anxiously waiting for that magical envelop. Any suggestion(s) is greatly appreciated because I'm running on fumes at this point.

LOL - you sound just like me! I applied to several schools, and Im still waiting to hear back from 2 - going crazy! Its very hard not to check my email every 5 min. Ive been reading books and its been helping a lot! lol I just finished the twilight series - 4 books - i am very impressed by it, would definitely recommend it!

Excellent recommendation! I've been meaning to go to borders for some time now. It's just a little hard to squeeze in recreational reading when I have this pathophysiology book that weights more than me constantly staring my way, lol. I will treat myself anyway:specs:

Let us know when you get your acceptance letters!! What school/s are you waiting to hear from?

I 2nd that recomendation...you want time to pass...read those books! :D

Ohhh read twilight. That's a good one that kept me busy for about a month. I have to wait until June. I'm not thinking about it until June first! Then it's time to panic.

Good luck & best wishes!

Im waiting to hear back from sacramento and stanislaus state and ARC. Keeping my fingers crossed and praying for my acceptance letter :)

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I applied to Dominguez Hills (only school I applied to) so a lot is at steak. I will definitely keep you all updated.

If you really want to pass some time play a video game or two. I could (and have) sat on the XBox 360 for HOURS at a time. When I was pregnant I played Viva Pinata for about 5 hours straight on average. It is addicting, not very productive, but it will keep your mind off things.

Good luck! I know what it is like to be driven crazy waiting on pins and needles to hear about something.

I'm with you! I am waiting to receive my letter that won't be here until the end of May (or knowing my school mid-June)! The wait is killing me! I do work full time now but that is suffering too because all I can concentrate on is my letter!!! I have been waiting a long time and counting down the days until I give notice at my job (only 78 more days left - if accepted into Fall Semester)! I have been organizing my house though because as many people have stated on here, you won't have time once you're in school. Also, I am taking classes over the summer so that should drain some time but just know that you aren't the only one in the "hold" pattern!

Thanks everyone! Right now, I work at a local hospital part-time and I, too (CalebMommy) find it hard to concentrate while thinking about that magical letter. I got some books the other day and I have re-arranged my entire house over 5 times to keep me busy, lol. I'm thinking about taking a class over the summer as well just for fun and to make time pass by. Thanks again for the suggestions, it all sounds great:up:

I'm still waiting too, so I feel your pain!
