Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Does anyone know where to go, or what website to go to for cheap textbooks? I'm taking A&P 1 this summer, and the textbook at my school is outrageous. For both new and used.

If you don't mind renting, I used Campus Book Rentals. Excellent customer service, reasonable prices too. Or try a site like CheapestTextbooks.com where you type in the book you need and it will give you multiple places you can purchase or rent so you can decide what you want to do.

try allbookstores.com. Will search many other sites for best price.

Thank you so much! I will check into both sites. I don't mind renting at all. Whatever it takes...

Sometimes amazon is helpful. Just googling used textbooks can give you good comparisons, too. Be careful to not get an instructor edition. That could be viewed as cheating. Often times, previous editions are almost identical and acceptable, but WAY less expensive. Email your instructor and ask if you can go with an older one. Also, if your campus has a bulletins board that allows flyers to be posted by students, go see who is selling what.

A thought specifically for a&p - I'm fond of my a&p hardcover textbook, and out of the books I've kept, it is one that I have continually gone back to for various reasons. If you go with used, get a pretty one and try for hard cover, if you like keeping books.

i usually rent from amazon.com or barnes and noble depending on who has what I need in stock for cheaper

Good day:

Amazon.com -- though no matter where you shop, if your class needs and access code, be careful (especially that used books don't often include the code).

Thank you.

I use CheapestTextbooks.com. It gives you all of the purchase and rental prices for all the textbook sites.

Rent your books at Chegg.com

Seriously, I rented three books there AND a study guide booklet for only $74. (One of the books to rent at my campus bookstore was almost $150) After your classes end you print off a free shipping label from their website and send it back! Super easy and it saves so much time and money.

We got most of mine and my daughters off amazon. As long as you don't need a code for a class the used ones are pretty reasonable. (Check the condition stated)
