Precalculus and calculus vs statistics

I'm in a basic statistics class this summer. I love it. I was really uninterested in algrbra so I'm surprised.

My question is are precalculus and calc more like algebra or more like statistics? Ty

Nah - they're very "mathy". I liked Stats also - because of the way I could use it to explain things and help make decisions.

I took AP calculus in high school and it's definitely more on the algebra side. You should be pretty strong in algebra for calculus.

It's funny; I liked calc better, but I got a better grade in stats.
