I've pulled my GPA up!

I was sitting at a 2.82 for a bit and didn't really like that. I've just taken my first pre-reqs for the LPN program and made A's in both. It pulled my cumulative GPA up to a 3.13 and My curricular is standing at a 4.0. I thought I would have massacred that my first go! Now if I can just ace my last semester that's starting next week, I'll be very happy! (I'm a student who didn't care near as much as I should have in high school, so now that my priorities are straight, this is a big deal to me!) :o

I'm also wishing good luck for everyone who is about to start up again!

On a serious note. I started in school with a 1.15 GPA. This was in 2005 right out of high school. Through working with an adviser, I was able to either dismiss some of the, lets call them mistakes of my youth lol, and clean up my gpa to what it is now 3.9 overall and 4.0 Science, 4.0 University of Cal GPA. I stopped going to school back then and started back up in 2009. It was a LOT of work, I even had to take courses at another community college to repeat a couple C's I received, so I totally get where you are coming from.
