Contact lens in chemistry lab.

I have really bad eye sight, so I see better with contact than glasses.

But I am talking chemistry lab now, so I ordered glasses for my lab.

Thing is that they are coming in a few days, so I have to take the class while I am just wearing contact lenses! I am afraid that my eyes will get damaged while I am waiting for my new glasses!

Did somebody take a chemistry lab while wearing contact lens with safety goggle before?

Don't get me wrong! I am going to wear glasses soon. But just a few days!!!

If you are wearing safety goggles, there should be no problem.

I wore contacts with safety glasses for every lab in school. No issues at all.

I wore contacts with my safety goggles for every lab. I was fine. As long as the goggles are on there should not be an issue.

Didn't your school have you sign some form for not wearing contact lenses?

I wore contacts and safety goggles the whole semester we just had to sign a form letting the professor know we wore contacts in case of an emergency and know how to deal with it. no big deal. if it was going to be a day that we had to worry about vapors he would let us know so we could wear glasses if we wanted to instead of contacts...it was a non issue in my chem lab tho.. I think you'll be fine
