  1. OH. Thank you so much for explaining. It might be stressful. But as an older person, I am so eager to graduate as soon as possible! haha
  2. I understood that generic full time is 4 semesters which is 2 years program( fall, spring, fall, spring) And Accelrated program is 3 semester ( fall, spring, summer) so it can be 1 year program. Is this correct?
  3. Do you guys know when are we able to know if we accepted or not? I am applying to associate program for fall semester in mdc, too. I am a little worried I won't be able to know whether I get accepted in FIU, and I will be attending mdc.
  4. Nope, I studied business :) Don't worry. If you are not lazy and know how to do it, you will be good^^
  5. My first language is very different from English. And I have been in U.S. just for 3 years. But I have all A's so far. Education I got for nursing was pretty easy stuff comparing to my previous education in my country. So don't worry. If you put your energy in your studying, you will do great. And about the toefl, it varies. Some schools don't require toefl if you are permanent resident. But some school does. You need to call school to get correct information. Good luck.
  6. I have a bachelor degree from outside of U.S. And I have been attending community college for a while. I am also a green card holder. I finished ENG 101 and 102 and almost finished pre-reqs in America. For the BSN admission, Did you guys submit toefl score? Anyone can tell me experience? Especially in FL? Thank you.
  7. I am taking just three classes in this semester. Fortunately I already took microbiology lecture last semester. This time I am just taking a lab. Anyone can tell me is this doable? I have all A's in my pre-requities so far. But I have no idea about Stat. Can anyone tell me also what Stat is like? Thank you!
  8. This is a great information to me. Thank you so much.
  9. All of my classmates told me that I should get a BSN. What they told me is that employers don't want to hire associate anymore. Is that true for these day? I was planning to go to community college for nursing, and hopefully get a job in any kind of health facility as a nurse. And hope I can transfer to BSN program while I am working. Is this not realistic plan in Miami or in South FL? I would appreciate your experiences and opinions! Thank you.
  10. Hi, I am taking pre-reqs in community college right now. I finished A&P1 and 2 , college algebra, Psy 101, Life span pay, Chemistry, English composition. And, I am going to take micro, statistic, nutrition. When I read BSN program requirement on school's website, they say cumulative GPA and pre-reqs GPA. I am not an American, so I am confused about this. I thought I am able to apply to BSN program after I finish all pre-reqs they require. But when it comes to cumulative GPA, do I need to take more classes? I have a bachelor degree from outside of America, which can be transferred to here. Those who apply BSN program from community college, how many credits do I need to have to apply nursing program(BSN)?
  11. Guys! What would you do? If you get in Miami dade full-time associate program and Barry university?
  12. I have a question. Did you guys finish all of the pre-reqs prior to applying? I finished all of the science pre-reqqs, and I have bachelor degree from other college( I can transfer almost humanity classes to Barry) but I still didn't finish some class like religion. Do I absolutely have to finish all of the pre-reqs they are requiring before the program? Or is there any way to take 1-2classes while I am in the program?
  13. Does school website has all information of it? thank you!
  14. This is great advice! Thank you so much!
  15. Thank you very much for all the details!
