10 minutes when I was in LPN school. 15 for RN school.
However, my LPN school did tell us in advance and required we signed a form that said we were notified that clinicals could be within a FIFTY (50) mile radius of the school. For people who were 25-30 miles away from the campus were looking at a horrid commute time especially when it was in the winter and we had to be to the clinical site by 645am. Luckily we didn't have any sites that were 50 miles away from the school, but we did have some that were 20 or better.
When I was in nursing school I lived in the same town (5 minute drive). But then I moved at the end & it was 30-40 minutes. I knew people coming from the valley, which I believe is over an hour or more drive.
