Is Chemistry in the Science category?

I am looking at colleges to apply to and they are saying you need a B or better in your science courses. Well, so far I did good in Bio and A&P but my chemistry I have a C. does chem fall under science?

I would definitely think so.

As one of the physical sciences, it very much does.

Also, please pay attention to dimensional analysis in chemistry, so that you don't come crawling back to the forum later saying that you can't do dosage calculations.

Um, yes. What else would it be?

For the purposes of preference points for a B or better, I can say that at my school I got a point for chemistry. Just make sure that it is the chemistry course required for your program and not a prerequisite for a higher level of chem. For example, general chemistry would probably count but fundamentals may not count for a point. Your school's courses may be different, this was just an example.

I also must agree with TheSquire. The formulas are done the same for dosage calculations as they are in chemistry. They are quite easy as long as you pay attention to what you put where. By the time I got to pharmacology (lots of dosage calculations!) it was already second nature for me.
