Hi, I'm new to this forum. I will take my A&P II course this spring semester also. Its been a little rough these past few months. I've moved to a new city due to Hurricane Katrina. I would have taken the course this fall so i feel a little behind. I kinda nervous. Well once again sleepless nights due to major studying. I wish all of you the best of luck.
    I'm sorry you were displaced.
I hope you are enjoying Vegas! What college are you going to? I just got accepted into CCSN's nursing program. If you have any questions, just ask! I had excellent, fair, knowledgable instructors that I could recommend.

I just took my first lecture exam, which was only over the endocrine system and hormones. I was very confident of over 90% of the test, but we'll see tomorrow when I get my exam back how I did.

Welcome to the forum! This is a wonderful resource! There are some great cardio websites throughout this thread. Just take a look through the past 15 pages and you'll find a plethora of good information.

My favorite study tool is flash cards. Easy to use, easy to make, easy to transport, and works well when studying with 2 or more people.

I'm just starting cardio in lecture, and about to be tested over it in lab. For lab, remember that the "right" (ventricle, atrium) of the heart is really on the left side of the picture or model/picture and the "left" (ventricle, atrium) is on the right side.

    Hi Woogy,
Vegas is ok, its a little different from home. I just started classes today at CCSN. I have my lab class tomorrow. My lecture teacher seems ok so far. Any info on the CCSN Nursing program would be nice. I dont know that much about it.

wow! First test is Feb. 13? We had our first test this past Monday. I guess it's a lot better than having to cram all that studying in at once. Good Luck.

Hmmm. I am confused reading all of these posts. Maybe it's because I am getting my ADN at a Community College? But, I am taking just plain ole' Anatomy and Physiology, period. No "I" and "II".
Well ours is just plain ol' A&P too .. it spans two terms and we definitely are not off the hook for all the material covered thus far. We are currently covering the heart in lecture and we are a bit off in labs .. our lab this week was on somatic vs. autonomic motor pathways and the endocrine system.

We also are expected to have at least a C average to be admitted into second year nursing.

Good luck with your course!! When did you start and when do you finish (this course and overal)?
