University of Miami Accelerated BSN spring 2015

Hello everyone, I just wanted to start this thread for anyone interesting or planning on applying to UM for spring 2015. I am finishing up the pre-requisites I need...doing micro class and lab. So far those are the only things I know I have to take. I'm extremely nervous, mainly because of the waiting game to see if I'm accepted or not.

I had to take over class, so I am not too happy about that either, so that also makes me a little down.

Also when I called the other day, someone said they are changing the application process, did anyone else hear that information?

Are you guys finish with all your pre-requisites?

Do you know how much repeating a class puts you in the hole for not getting accepted?

I applied August 22nd as well.

I made a cane link, but every time I try to log in, it says error and operating system does not work. I have updated software on my computer and tried to log in using different web browsers and I still get the same message.

Has anyone gotten this error before? I'm just anxious to find out and I have not received any letter.

That happened to me today but I refreshed and then was directed to the main page

Was the main page, myUM home?

That's what I am always redirected to but this page has nothing in regards to my application status.

Just has a bookmark section and update information

What I initially had to do was go to the um transfer student instructions page, once there I would click on the cane link tab and it would let me get in. Dont know why I could not get in via the myum page.

I was verified by nursingcas on 8/25 and I haven't heard anything yet. I also never received any info about creating a canelink so I just went ahead and made one and it says my app is incomplete.

I submitted 08/07 and was verified 08/15...I got my acceptance letter two days ago and I paid my deposit yesterday! Is there a FB group started up for the cohort??

I hope this isn't a trend here.. Did anyone that received their cane link via mail show incomplete on their application? So far it seems to be the three of us that created it ourselves

I know the university of Miami was having some issues with nursing cas showing as incomplete even though everything is turned in. They originally made the application as a grad school one instead of undergraduate.

My nursing cas is complete and verified, it's canelink that says incomplete
