University of Miami Accelerated BSN spring 2015

Hello everyone, I just wanted to start this thread for anyone interesting or planning on applying to UM for spring 2015. I am finishing up the pre-requisites I need...doing micro class and lab. So far those are the only things I know I have to take. I'm extremely nervous, mainly because of the waiting game to see if I'm accepted or not.

I had to take over class, so I am not too happy about that either, so that also makes me a little down.

Also when I called the other day, someone said they are changing the application process, did anyone else hear that information?

Are you guys finish with all your pre-requisites?

Do you know how much repeating a class puts you in the hole for not getting accepted?

@chelypeppr yes I called NursingCas and they stated on their end everything has been submitted and that is an issue that needs to be address with UM. I'm going to call UM again tomorrow and see if they can provide any other information

Same boat as you guys! Submitted my application on nursingcas 2 weeks ago and still nothing...It's making me nervous!

Hey everyone! I just got an acceptance letter! It was in canelink showing as mailed out!

I applied 08.01 and my application was verified 08.12.

I applied on August 26th and still haven't received anything on a canelink ID so I created one myself. It shows that my application was received but it says application incomplete. I know everything was sent in from NursingCAS. Has anyone else had this problem?

I'm in almost the exact same situation. I applied Sept. 2 and didn't get anything in the mail regarding cane link, so I created one myself. My information is on there but my application says incomplete as well.. I have no idea why? I did call on Monday and was told I was in the 50's out of 181 applicants, and that they had taken my bunch in to review that day.. maybe that's why it's incomplete? Since there's no decision maybe?

Please let me know if you hear anything/talk to them. Thanks!

I applied in Sept so I am still waiting on a response. I am super nervous as my undergrad GPA is 3.03 and my pre-reqs is 3.89... I am just praying I get in because this is the only school I applied to.
