Haven't seen any forums yet on the SUNY Downstate ABSN 2017-2018 class. Has anyone applied?? Or heard from them already?

Hi guys, does anyone know how many semesters is this program? I'm wondering because I'm taking out loans and need to know to estimate the cost. How much is a semester, also?

@tef0614, I heard it was May 30 but it could change. So not too sure on that.

You're looking at graduate nursing, not undergrad.

I was a biology major and graduated with a 2.94

When I went to Stonybrook info session last year, we were told the entire program (semester, fees, etc.) is roughly $18,000 so Downstate would probably be about that much I assume. The first date of classes is May 31 and orientation is May 30 I believe

Has anyone recently heard from the school? I submitted my application in early August and it was forwarded around Nov. No update since then. It has taken for so long. I miss 2 prereqs, taking this semester. I hope that won't affect my chance? Thanks.

For those who are admitted, can I ask how many prereqs you lack when you apply and when you finish your last prereqs? Thank you! Disheartened here.

Futurenurserntobe I finished all prereqs when I applied and even had 1 "extra" (needed organic chem for another school). If your 2 missing prereq are sciences it could cause delay.
