Haven't seen any forums yet on the SUNY Downstate ABSN 2017-2018 class. Has anyone applied?? Or heard from them already?

They sent me an email around 4 in the afternoon, so look out for an email from them reading, "A Decision Has Been Made" ! Best of luck to you!!

Hi Everyone,

I've been reading other people's comments on here and it seems as if some people sent in their official transcripts when they applied. I only sent in my unofficial transcripts. Now I'm concerned that I applied incorrectly…???? Which were we supposed to submit?

@MellyLelly I received an email stating that a decision had been made. I was then prompted to click on a link and log into my account to find out what the decision was. As difficult as I know it is, try to be patient! Keeping my fingers crossed for you. Good luck!

@emh2012 no need to worry, unofficial transcripts were all they asked for - that's all I sent. Official transcripts are only required once you've been accepted.

Hey all, I have a question. Does anyone know what the class schedule will be like after the crazy summer? I've heard that its two days a week. In that case I'm wondering if its possible to continue working part time as a unit clerk. I'm going to try to take a leave of absence for the summer but really don't want to quit my job come fall.

Hi everyone, I applied on January 11th. Any idea when we may hear back? I saw some people wrote 3 weeks and others wrote 2-3 months. I hope I didn't lower my chances by applying so late. Also, is it true they only look at the reading and math scores on the teas?

Just got my notice of being waitlisted today too :( Does any one have any idea how many (if any) they take from the wait list? I'm feeling pretty discouraged.
