Good day, nessa420:

You may want to research how often ITT is discussed in allnurses.com and how many view it as not a place to go (ever) because of accredidation issues.

Thank you.

Whether Orlando park or overland park, ITT tech tuition for Rn is always around 40k to 60k. Please try to look at other university around your area.

I totally agree with everyone else. Also, you may want to check the state passing rate for a school by looking on the State Nursing Board WebSite. That how you determine if that school is a good choice, you don't want to finish school and can't pass the test to obtain your license to work any where.

Are they accredited? What is there NCLEX pass rate? ITT Tech is a terrible, high price school. Please look at other schools that will serve you better.

Please reconsider paying 40-60k for a degree, especially when there are far better options that will cost less; you can get a BSN cheaper that that when you go to a community college program and bridge.

Cast your net wide and start talking to local CC's before even going to a commercial school that will put you deep in debt and run the risk of not passing your boards, as well as finding an employer; the are so many better options.

You will be attending a school with lower standards, minimum entry requirements, and an extremely high cost. It's like buying a box of Walmart's great value mac and cheese, but paying the price of a caviar-smothered lobster.

People can certainly attend ITT Tech, graduate, and become successful nurses. However, it should be a last resort, and not because instant gratification demands that all wait-lists should be avoided. If this is your dream, it is worth it to wait for a program that will offer you the best chance to be a nurse.
