Register Today!- Apr 20, '12 by michelemybellQuote from linda93You are one tough cookie!!!! Congrats......I can't finish fast enough. I have 2 more nursing classes and 3 undergrad classes (stats, ethics and business comm).
Once I graduate I will have taken 19 classes in 18 months. I am tired of school. - Apr 21, '12 by RNMom2010Quote from LarryCarterI applied and sent all my transcripts in Feb. I received my acceptance email a few days ago. Now I am awaiting info on the next steps.I applied a few months ago for the fall start date. I have emailed the school to get confirmation of them receiving my paperwork and they assured me that they have everything needed for enrollment. I have an account set up on my.ohio.edu. My question is this... does it take a long time to get accepted? I am starting to worry.
- Apr 21, '12 by cincinursemaryHi, I'm new. Just taking my first NRS 451 course. Anyone staying up till 2am looking up reference papers?
I am looking to take Stats in the summer. Is it really hard? I'm not great in math. Is there much math in it?
any advice would be so helpful. - Apr 21, '12 by edatriWow, I didn't know OU had online RN to BSN classes. I'm still working on my RN, but I'm hoping this program will still be around in a couple of years! (I'm also hoping that I can get a discount on tuition since my father was a professor at OU for nearly 50 years!)
- Apr 21, '12 by Simply ComplicatedQuote from cincinursemaryUnder this section for Ohio University, find the March 26th start date thread. That is where those of us who started in March do most of our posting for 451. We all post in other areas as well, but we have been keeping any info that is relevant to those of us just starting in that thread!!Hi, I'm new. Just taking my first NRS 451 course. Although the past 15 months of going to school non-stop, while working, and taking care of my family, has had its challenges, I am still happy that I attended OU. Thanks Chuckster for creating this post. Who knew that one post would grow into this amazing lifeline for so many of us. Thanks to my cyber angels Casey and Angela, for your words of wisdom. Thanks to my graduation buddy Steph….I am in AWE of you. After hearing about your family, workload, and school schedule, I knew not to complain about ANYTHING being hard. And thanks to all of my cyber-buddies out there (too many to name), that kept be laughing when I really wanted to cry, and let me know that it would be all over SOON ENOUGH!!
I will now start clearing off my kitchen table. I haven't seen it in 15mon. I will start take photos again. Haven't "really" touched my camera in over 15mon. And I will go back to my every day life where I don't have to worry about quizzes, discussion boards, and APA format.
I'm not sure what I will do next education wise after a much needed break. I thought I wanted to be a FNP, but realized, that's not my passion. I think for now, I will continue to make a difference in the lives of my pediatric patients, and see where that leads me.
Continued success to all of you!!!
Love,
DeltaRoxxy
