Uh-oh. My littlest girl is Jessica and we call her Jessy. I like it with the "y". I think it looks better than Jesse or Jessie. Does that make me lame? I am either way.
No darlin' - that does NOT make you lame! On her birth certificate, school records, drivers' license (some day) and so on - her name is JESSICA. You can spell Jessy with a "y" if you like - Jesse is traditionally the masculine spelling (aka Jesse James), and the "y" or "ie" is interchangable for girls. It's more in how you pronounce it than how you spell a nickname - it's how you SPELL given names that makes their lives hell on earth........and it's the ones who put y's everywhere but where they DON'T belong who are having self-identity issues and are foisting them off on their children! This, in my book, makes YOU perfectly normal! LOL

ok - i just got this in my email. i am in classmates online, and i got a notification that several people had signed my guestbook yesterday (lord only knows why! lol) anyway - i do not know or remember this individual, but his name is "leamon tart" and his profile is complete with history and pictures, so i guess he's the real deal. or someone with way too much time on his hands. my vote is for the real deal though.
and there was another individual on the list whose last name was also "tart" - but the first name was not significant in making any kind of strange combination...........
