Have you heard of the Chocolate Toberone quite famous here in UK
Well i delivered a babyboy who his parents named Toby and their surname was Roan

I might be mistaken, but isn't that chocolate actually spelled "Toblerone?"

Once had a student named Noelle Noel.

Had a patient name a baby Chance Adream (last name not included) and one patient name her baby Ms. Kay. I tried to explain to her the "Ms." would be added anyway and it was not necessary for her first name to be Ms. Kay, but she kept it. Also knew of a baby being named Dan Quayle because the mom had "heard that name somewhere." Also, in OB we always collected the birth certificates...I had a few moms "name" their children something that the name didn't actually spell...but I guess that is their right!

I've heard a social worker can be called when babies are given mean or vindictive names. Urban legand, or has anyone seen this happen?

One of my best friends when I was growing up was named Amparo - I've never met or heard of anyone else with the name.

I knew a kid growing up named Howdy Do-good Tomahawk Truckstop. Swear to God. :uhoh21: Not sure about the first part, but he was born or maybe conceived at the Tomahawk Truckstop . . .

Changed it to Jordan the day he turned 18

That's very sad. Looks like the rest of the family have been inflicted with weird names, too!

Work with Wayne _______ II. He insisted everyone call him Wayne the Second so we all started calling him Two.
That reminds me of a newborn Ferd III, aka Ferd the Third.

Apparently, from what his onesie says, Twothousand five Jacquie is a twin. I wonder what his sibling's name is!

I just took care of a baby girl "Sunshine" this week. A couple of years ago, we had a "Natural Shooting Star"... the mom had a C/S, so the birth surely wasn't natural nor did the baby shoot out of anywhere! Another nurse told me about a mom who wanted to name her baby Arnold Schwarzenegger! One of our birth certificate clerks confirmed that story.

At least Nikkholaus is just a variation spelling of Nicholas. Twothousandfive is pretty out there! And the twin's siblings are Dhillaun and Rynnie!
