  1. I totally agree with you. Some states must pay alot of money to women that have alot of kids. Here,it's just $24 a month for each additional child. It's $60 a month for the first child.
  2. Sorry I haven't responded sooner.I've been busy this past week.I have not had any side effects from Yasmin at all.I have recently been put on a different pill schedule bcse of my endometriosis.I'm taking them straight through for 3 months before having a period.I'm confused as to why your doctor is so anxious to remove your ovaries.I would definitely see another doctor.
  3. I just want to wish you the best of luck.I have PCOS and endometriosis also.I'm having a lap next month to remove some adhesions.I'm currently on Yasmin and it has helped me lose alot of weight. She wants to start me on Glucophage at first. Then try Clomid if that doesn't work. She also recommend Glucophage the first trimester of pregnancy to prevent miscarriage.
  4. My best friend has a 4 month old and an 18 month old.She is considering getting Mirena. She would like to have another child in 2 yrs.Is Mirena something that can be removed at any time? She would like to go back on regular bc pills. She isn't sure when she can bcse she's breastfeeding and got pregnant on the low dose pills. Thanks for your help.
  5. I don't know how much this helps.I don't have any kids yet and possibly may not because of some health problems. My best friend has 2 kids. She wanted her sister to be there so bad for the first delivery since her sister had given birth.her sister had an epidural and hadn't felt any pain with her delivery. She ended up not being much help to my best friend. I felt bad for her bcse I have had other female procedures that were painful. She didn't ask her sister to be there for the second delivery but insisted that I be there again since I was so helpful.I don't think it necessarily makes a difference.I think you just have to be understanding and caring. I thought it did matter and I thought women who have given birth had such a bond that other women didn't.My best friend's sister was laughing at her when she had a contraction.Evidently, she had no understanding of labor pain bcse she had a pain free delivery. I guess it's like saying you have to have had cancer to be a good oncology nurse.
  6. I also have PCOS and endometriosis.I would highly recommend getting a second opinion.I was in your situation before.A doctor wanted to remove my right ovary at age 23 and I didn't have anybody to have a baby with.I also felt terrible at the time. This doctor put me on Ortho-Triclen for 2 months. It made me sick. She offered no other medication and recommended a partial hysterectomy. I changed doctors. My new one put me on Yasmin and I have lost 60 lbs.My symptoms are alot better now.My uterus is upside down. She said that it may just mean I'll have to have a C-section or maybe not even that.Hopefully,my fiance and I will be ttc in about 2 yrs. I will also say that adoption is a great thing if that turns out that surgery is what's best for you.I wish you all the luck in the world.
  7. I take Yasmin for PCOS and I really like it.
  8. Thank ya'll so much for your help.He sometimes has to work on the weekends. Then he comes up here if he's off.He hasn't had much time to look.I went ahead and bought a house here bcse I got a grant. He should know in about 2 months if the job is permanent. The company is also trying to get in on that airport renovation project coming up down there.
  9. My boyfriend is currently on a job there and it may turn out to be permanent. He is trying to find a home like mine here in Memphis. Can you find a 2 bedroom home there that's 5 to 10 yrs old that's under $100,000? Thanks.
  10. I live in Memphis. It's $18 to $22 an hr starting out, depending on your shift.I know someone who makes $32 an hr.She has been a nurse for 8 yrs.She does research and goes into the OR with the dr to conduct some of her research. She has a BSN. My best friend's sister has been a nurse for 4 yrs. She's an ADN.She makes $27 an hr in ICU.She works nights and rotates weekends.
  11. It's a whole separate thing here. It's called cardiovascular technician. They have to take all the prereqs that nurses have to take.I'm not real sure how much they make.
  12. I get that alot just being a cashier.I'll make a comment or talk to a customer's child. Then they ask if I have kids. Then they ask why not. Then I feel like I have to tell them I have medical problems.(I have endometriosis and PCOS.) I'm still undecided but I feel like it's no one's business either way. That is one thing I dread when I start clinicals and the OB rotations. This is something that totally blew my mind.My friend had a lady partsl delivery and was complaining how bad it was.Her other friend was agreeing with her.She said to her, "You had a C-section.What would you know?" I thought that was crazy. I totally respect your decision and understand how you feel.
  13. I was checking an email that I only check once a month.I had an old email from when I had registered back in February.I found this place back then on google.
