dansko has an outlet. if you know what size you wear this might be the way to go. they are a little cheaper here.

I've never heard of DRG. Do they have a website?
Do a keyword search on "DRG stethoscope". There are lots of distributors. Sorry, but I can't find their dedicated website. DRG stands for "Doctors Research Group".

before you buy, please check out ZCOILS by entering Zcoil into your search-engine. Expensive at $159, but the very best shoes I ever had! And, you will definitely get many comments! They are the weirdest looking shoes I have ever seen, and I've had mine for 3 months now. I'm noticing more staff with them at the hospital. AND, since I bought them for work, will deduct the cost at tax-time. I am only a consumer, but, I would highly recommend these shoes......
Just checked them- they look right out of the circus! There is no way my director would allow those. Can you spring down the halls like Tigger? :rotfl:

You have got to be kidding that you need permission as to your footwear???????? Our hospital has not problem with them; one of the doc's even got a pair!
We don't need permission, however, they are VERY strict as to what type of shoes we can get, unfortunately.
My apologies, I forgot I was in a student Nurse forum; and you are probably mostly lacking in aches and pains, lol! I bought those shoes to prevent back and leg pain, not for their looks, I assure you! I know about dress codes, and hopefully they will lighten up wherever you work after graduation! Best of luck to you in school!
i found the dansko matisse professional and apparently they are new 'cause they go for $110 everywhere i looked. they are so pretty and i like clogs. i went try on a pair of the professional ones yesterday at a uniform store and couldn't believe how comfortable they are. i'm really thinking of taking the plung and buying the matisse........they are a zappos.com.
matisse -zappos
i also read that the matisse professional has a wider base and narrow heal which is what i need.

I've found that the sport clog collection doesn't have the same arch supports as the older collection. I can't wear them like I can the old ones. I admit that these look great, but make sure you try on a pair out of that collection to make sure they're the right kind for your feet!
I didn't realize that the arch was different. Thanks for the info.
