Does anybody have any info on this university? They only require 39 credits for the RN-BSN... There are only 2 pre-requirements to the program and they charge $242 per credit hour. Sounds pretty good to me!!! They are also NLN accredited.

If you have any input I would love to hear! :)

I am wondering if you found out anything about the program. Ihave been looking at it also...seems so much more reasonable

I'm looking at this one too. Let's try to keep each other informed!

Anyone make any decisions on this program or find out any more info?

I had applied to SRU's RN to BSN and was accepted but then withdrew from the college due to a problem accessing online content. Spoke with their IT department about the issue, they said they'd fix it, but then never did. I somehow ended up with two different user accounts, one I could register for classes with and one I could access the online part with-but not vice-versa. Can you see the problem there? I had a hard time getting in touch with people and decided that wasn't what I wanted to deal with when getting a 100% online degree. I think my problem might have been unique though, not sure. The worst was when I tried calling back about the issues, I had my adviser tell me that perhaps the issue was user error, which it wasn't! Otherwise everyone I dealt with was very nice. I wish it would have worked out, you can't beat the price!

I have no experience with the program but it looks like they require 13 nursing courses (39 credits) plus courses in Ethics and Statistics. From what I can see, everyone is required to take the 2 "support" courses, so the total number of credits required is 45. Still, the program looks reasonable and at their tuition rate - nominally $242 per credit but effectively closer to $260 once the required fees are added - this is one of less costly RN-BSN programs out there. SRSU is both NLN and regionally accredited, which could be important if you decide to pursue an MSN.

I've applied to the Ohio Univer program and am presently in the process of getting my transcript evaluation. If the OU evaluation is not favorable, I'd consider applying to SRSU.

I live about an hour from SRU. My moms best friend did their RN-BSN program and many of my classmates *and myself* and planning on doing this program in the future.

I am in process of starting the RN-BSN at SRU this Fall. Keep you posted when I get more information regarding my transcript eval and coursework.

This sounds very promising and affordable; I see that tuition can be paid in installments. I will be adding this to my list.

just rec'd acceptance letter but when i go online now it says you must have 44 credits in liberal arts to graduate..does that mean you still have to have all other classes too. I was thinking it was just the online rn to bsn plus the ethics and statistics...??
