When Should I Call?

I was told I would be contacted by the recruiter at the end of the week regarding their hiring decision. Well, the end of the week is gone and it is now the beginning of a new week. Should I call today? Who should I call--nurse manager or recruiter? Should I contact them by phone or email?

Honestly, if you can just get dressed up professionally, and pop by the HR office and inquire as to your application. If they chose another candidate, you can ask for another interview with a nurse manager immediately then if it is allowed or available.

while this job is high on your priority list it is a lot further down on the nurse managers list. Trust me. I have covered my NM job for 2 months and I only got 2 days a week in the office. The other 3 days I was running the floor on the morning shift. I have been on an office day and planned to sort out recruitment but HR have not done their end of the job, DON wants info before approving the cost or Issues on the ward require immediate attention.

I have gone to work and opened my emails to sort out a recruitment request and instead found an email about an incident that had gone the whole way to the exec of the hospital. Trust me that takes precedence!

I called. No decision has been made yet. They're still interviewing and plan to make their decision by the end of this week.

Wednesday made a week. However they had more interviews this week not sure how many days. I'm still so anxious and nervous. How is everyone else holding up?
