If any of you works or knows about this, how much do they pay newly grad RNs? And how does employment application go about? Please share. Thanks! :D

hi, i'm just new here..and i'm just wondering if anyone knows what are the coverage of the exam in the medical city? i just received a call from them that i am scheduled for an examination. the hr told me that it is a 100 item exam and i must get at least 75 to qualify...hope u can help me...thanks :wink2:

hello emzie, can I ask when did you input your details in the hr's computer?

just curious. thanks in advance.:D

hi pmagpali... i didn't undergo that process...First week of January when I gave my resume to my tita's friend... and after a week she asked me to go to the HR department so i can be scheduled for an exam...:)

emzie:

you are so lucky!

i passed my resume TWICE last september and november but still...i haven't receive a call/text from them!

I am planning to pass another resume in The Medical City on April once I grab a hold of my IV Therapy License. By the way, how is the computer input thing? Last time, I passed my application requirements through a dropbox. How is that Computer Input process? Can you please enlighten my mind about that thing? Thanks in advance to those who will reply. :p

With regards to their new system, you'll just have to type on a computer the following:name, age, address, phone #, school, board rating, prc license #, expiration date of prc card, and if currently employed or not. They won't ask you to submit anything else. After that, they will ask you to wait for their call/text.

does this means that i don't have to bring any requirements when i go there?im thinking of trying to apply there. where's this system can be found?in the HR?

no, you don't have to bring anything...and yes, it's at the HRD...goodluck!:nurse:

So this means that we won't show any application requirements to them. We'll just type our personal and professional informations. Then after that, we can leave and just wait for their text.

medical city pays 10,000 per month as starting salary. i have been a nurse there for more than 2 years and i get 12000 a month, minus taxes, it comes out to 10 a month. as for benefits, you get 10,000 worth of free medicines a year, plus 120,000 a year for hospitalizations, check ups, tests, etc.

Are they still accepting applicants?

to super extraordinary:

yes TMC is still accepting applicants but the turn over isn't as fast as before. when i applied, they trained me in august for a month, then i started working the day after training, sept. 1. that's because retrogression wasn't in progress back in 2006, so the hospital was losing nurses by the day. they were hiring nurses left and right. right now, since there is a lull, there is a surplus of nurses, they train, then the trainees wait for 6 months or more before they get hired. the ones that get hired right away are the ones who know someone inside. a doctor who puts in a good word, someone in the board...you know how it is....but keep trying.

is there a training fee?
