  1. I think you're on the right track. The essentials are actually IVT, BLS, and ACLS.You could also attend other seminars/trainings to continually update yourself with the nursing trends. This could also boost up your resume... GOOD LUCK!!!
  2. hello rinskie..... resume prc id/claim stub TOR with RLE diploma good moral certificate NBI clearance Birth Certificate 2 pcs 2x2 picture(white background) Contact no: 8888999 loc. 7369. Just ask the operator to connect you to the Professional Development and Training Department... Hope this helps!!!
  3. Although I appreciate the government's efforts to resolve the increasing number of unemployed nurses here in the Philippines, I think the NARS program is just a temporary fix. Why don't the government just expand the facilities and bed capacities of government hospitals? This would generate more jobs for health care professionals, including nurses. I know that the construction process will take months-years to complete, but this will better benefit our nurses in the longer run...
  4. It's really uncertain when will they accept applicants again. But one thing is for sure, they are still in need of many nurses. Maybe the reason why they temporarily closed the "drop box" is because they are still on the process of going through the papers of those who submitted before March 5 (closing date)...Just call their nursing office from time to time so that you'll be the first to submit once they open again...For the meantime, I suggest you apply to as many hospitals as possible...This way, you'll be able to expand your options and increase your chances of getting hired...Good luck!!!
  5. Kimong replied to johncfRN's topic in Philippines
to johncfRN: Try Quirino Memorial Medical Center in project 4...Just pass the following: Letter of intent addressed to Dr. Rosalinda Arandia (Medical Center Chief II) PRC ID or claim stub Board rating Resume Diploma/Certificate of Graduation TOR NBI/ Police clearance Pass these at the Office of Special concerns. Just ask the guard where it is. Days of submission are Tuesdays and Thursdays only, if I remember it right. When you pass your requirements, they'll immediately schedule you for an exam. Pass it right away because they only have limited slots...
  6. your welcome... so that means you've already passed yours...ok then, just be patient...

The notice was posted at the 9th fl of MMC, i saw it today. You could call there office to confirm this. I'm sorry about this news. But don't worry fellow RNs, the right opportunity will come eventually! Just don't give up!!!

  10. With regards to their new system, you'll just have to type on a computer the following:name, age, address, phone #, school, board rating, prc license #, expiration date of prc card, and if currently employed or not. They won't ask you to submit anything else. After that, they will ask you to wait for their call/text.
