Hiring nurses in Philippines

Hi guys! I need help. I am a new registered nurse. Has anyone know a hospital that is hiring for staff nurse or a hospital that has training for new graduate nurses this feb or march 2008? I have inquired in so many hospitals but I had a hard time looking for one. Thank you very much. :balloons:

hi guys! i'm a newly registered nurse! i just passed my nle last july 2011. after reading the threads i'm confused, are the trainings your talking about are them all paid? or free and part of the hiring process? can anyone help me understand the really in nursing employment here in the philippines? thank you so much! :thankya:

well, there are hospitals requiring rns to pay for training, and the amount is depending on what institution, kind of training and how long. there are some who does not require payment. the training that is a part of hiring process is when you are already hired and you passed all the qualifying exams, interview, etc, they will train you as their staff for you to familiarized with their environment or whatever it is they required you to do. hope this helps you :)

These hiring challenges for new grad RNs in the Philippines are the direct result of visa retrogression in the US. Before visa retrogression a lot of hospital experienced nurses were recruited and deployed to the States. Now they are not leaving those hospital jobs in the Philippines for America and the new grads are not getting hired. The only thing that helps is for the visa retrogressed nurses' priority dates to come current and they then get their EB3 visas and clear out of jobs for the new nurses to take over.

Try applying at Chong Hua Hospital in Cebu. They are currently accepting nurse applicants. I'm from Manila, passed my application personally last August and this coming September 26 our didactics will start. Try your luck here fellow nurses. God bless!

I am a registered nurse who actually took and passed the board exam last 2008. It was very difficult to look for employment that time and for me not to be stagnant, i enrolled myself in graduate school under MAN program. Right now, i am working on my thesis paper to complete the degree but i have no actual hospital employment experience. I only took the 3-month basic ward training and was discouraged because I paid 3k for my hospital training certificate. Now, i want to work as a hospital nurse and i am confused where and how to start.

Suggestions, help, words of encouragement are much appreciated... Thank you so much! :)

As I said, try Chong Hua Hospital in Cebu. Look, you'd graduated 2008, you're much younger my fellow nurse, I'm from batch 2007, imagine 4 years without work! Try Cebu my friend.

it's really frustrating on what is happening with the RN's today...you can't work abroad if you don't have 2 yrs of experience in a tertiary level hospital with a minimum of 200 bed capacity... :crying2: goodluck to us :hdvwl: training certificates won't do u good unless your hired
