read my posts before you post your unnecessary comment... by sophiabryan May 13, '11 hi! can anybody give me an inputs or idea on how to go through about my ordeal:-i'm a Philippine RN ,petitioned by US employer,unfortunately due to retrogression ,etc,my petition was abandoned-at least i presumed ( i say abandoned because there was no communication from them for a year,despite my effort to email,call them or sms them regarding my status),then NVC informed me that i am scheduled for an embassy interview.my dilemma is that,there are documents that i need from my employer whicho i have to present during the interview,and i still got no response from them,what do i haved to do.?anybody? FYI..PD2005,visa recapture,visa fees paid by new employer,currently waiting for new embassy interview date! don't make me look like a scammer..!

@ mylagakan how's your POEA orientation?can you share some info about it?i was able to attend the orientation of medpro and yes.they are helping out those nurses with abandoned petition PD 2006 below,the american staff of medpro shared that retrogression will be implemented when PD 2006 comes in..hhay!

okay thanks!when you say "POEA endorsed orientation it was literally endorsed by POEA ?or they are just accredited by POEA? i hope you can post some feedback regarding your PD recapture orientation..will email your given contact,goodluck on your orientation tnx!!

@mylagakan, we have the same PD July 2005,receive an email from NVC notifying me my appointment visa interview,unfortunately I did'nt push thru and planning to have it resched after I find a new employer,(i'm waiting for the feedback of this one agency i inquired with) did you have a notification from NVC already?

point taken.... lets just be hopeful...currently appplying for IVT training and looking into HD training too,so that resume will be a little bit more marketable and competetive,even with lapses in nursing experience..very difficult to apply in hospital right now like you are competing for 1 vacancy , applicant is 10 or 20 whew!...will keep updating..

yep,totally agree!more work small pay! sometimes no pay at all,but i guess we have to embrace it(hospital /nursing exp),since most of the U.S hospital employer are very keen when it comes to hospital experience,they want current and in specialty area (this is based from one of the agency i inquired )..nevertheless let's be hopeful..lets keep each other posted for any dev't.:-)

Hi mumnurse..actually,I was not able to talk to the person in charge for International nurses,they told me that she'll be back next week for she's currently out of the country,hmm..i hope it will not pose another problem for me,getting a release paper from them (local agency),i have to communincate with him though,since i cannot contact my U.S based employer...by the way are you working in a hospital setting?

hi mum nurse!yup ,contacted them already,have to talk to the one incharge for some clarification,about the release paper...hopefully everything will work out fine for us..lets keep in touch:nurse:
