Rule is: One sentence. Random thought. Silly is great. Funny would rock. If you're going to be judgmental, GO TO ANOTHER THREAD! FUN ONLY HERE!
Fomite is my new favorite word because it sounds like a sandwich spread.

LOL. I had one say he was going home, give me his number, and tell me (seriously) to call him when a bed became available so he could come back for it o.O
It's in all caps in the thread title: NO JUDGMENTAL FOLKS ALLOWEDIf you want to JUDGE what someone else has said, GO TO ANOTHER THREAD PLEASE!

:redbeathe Thank you so much for this thread. It is absolutely hilarious and so good to read after a rough day at work. I love my patients and one kind word from them makes everything else worth it to me, but some days are better than others when confronted w/situations that make you wonder, "really? what were you thinking???"

Vegemite is actually really good on buttered toast.
I think this topic needs a "finish food and beverages before reading" warning.

Strangely, I've had that old Men At Work song stuck in my head lately...
Everytime I see Vegemite (the do actually sell it at Meijers), I am really intrigued (have been since the 80s probably when that song came out). I am SO curious about how it tastes...
I mean, I love peanut butter or nutella on my toast. Can something called Vegemite really compare?

I have, on occasion, felt some mild chest pain at work. I'm sure it's nothing.

I wonder which is more dangerous: a scrub wearing nurse drinking in a bar after work or a scrub wearing nurse drinking in a bar before work....

Sir, I understand that you need to poop, however we are trying to determine if you've had a stroke so can we just get to CT already?
(this after 30 minutes on and off the bedpan with minimal results)
