I'll just say that I know when I can say "sphygmomanometer" with out sounding out every syllable and taking 72 1/2 seconds to say it, I will have victory!!!

Everybody has at least one term that hangs them up. What's yours?

There are a few med names I can't quite say. One of them is HCTZ. Yep, "HCTZ". I can say "hydrochlorothiazide" pretty reliably, but the abbreviation trips me up! I'll post again when I remember others.

It's just a joke of sorts...a play on difficult word pronunciation. I'm thinking the original 'joke' was coined from an SNL skit? But can't remember...
