Performed poorly on interview.

I had an interview for CVICU today but performed very poorly. I am bad interviewee, but I think I perform well in the clinical setting and my resume isn't bad. The NM told me to call him if I hadn't heard from a recruiter within two weeks. Is this neutral in nature or do I have some hope?

I think you have plenty of hope, from what the NM says.

Froze on a question - I don't think I even answered it. Stumbled and rambled on in others.

I'm really bad at interviews myself. that's one reason I stay in the same job for a long time coz i dread interviews. it doesn't help that english isn't my first language, and i have a thick accent, i talk like i'm a teenager going through puberty with that screechy broken voice.

i hope you get the job. it's nerve racking having to wait and find out. do you have other job/interviews lined up besides CVICU?

Years ago I took a class in how to interview for job. It was offered through the local collage extension. It was the best thing I ever did. It started with how you dress and went right through just about every type of question you might be asked. I suggest you try to find one. I have never had a bad interview since. Even when I stips on my license I still got the job.
