That "nurse"

Has anyone encountered a nurse college that habitually is ride to residents  disrespects their dignity, autonomy and independence?. Then gets away with it because she brings in profit?

Like discouraging a terminal resident from dying at home and manipulating him and his family into hospice so that the high cost suite can he rented asap?

Reporting this to management does nothing because she the money maker?

Hospice doesn't pay for facility services. Is your objection that the patient is not appropriate for assisted living level of care?.

My objection is that the resident choses to die at home and he is being manipulated into something other than that. I.e going to hospice instead of death at home. (Home is an apartment style building with on site care aids and nurses)

My Facility supports death at home.  This is an Assisted Living Facility.

This nurse has also entered other residents suites when they are in hospital with out their consent and has removed persona property (medications to set up full staff med admin).  This resident has mild cognitive change but is independent and can make her own decisions.  Of course this increase care level to a higher fee.

This nurse is not a direct care nurse but is responsible to setting up tenancies and care levels.

The patient should do what she wants, it is her right. healthcare places say they  are  doing what is best for patients--while the facility profits or saves money. In the end, the facility comes out ahead or at least doesn't lose anything. And they have peculiar rules set up just for liability reasons fear of lawsuits.
